If you are looking for a more exclusive spot, Glen Abbey, probably the most famous and recognized course in Canada, is only a short 30 minute drive from Grimsby. Summer rates range from $120 to $235 with cart included and $68 for juniors for the summer season. As a semi-private club it offers play to the public and private memberships. Around the Corner
Are you a casual golfer, a ‘duffer’ per se? If you are looking for a few courses that do not require a caddy, a slope indication or a professional PGA card to play, there are plenty of mid-range and casual golf courses in the area as well. There are also two golfing ranges nearby. Grimsby Golf Range is a mere 9 minutes drive while Glover Golf in Winona is only 11 minutes away. For getting some practice in before the golf season starts, either is a great choice.
For a fast nine, you could head over to Winona Nine Hole Golf Course, just west of Glover Golf or drive to Scenic Woods Golf Club on top of the escarpment only 20 minutes from your new Condo. Scenic Woods is a mature course originally built in 1964 with a comfortable 6350 yards. Being on top of the escarpment provides a lush wooded grounds with rolling hills intersected by the Twenty Mile creek.
Other great options nearby include Caistorville Golf Club, Southern Pines Golf and Country, Twenty Valley Golf and Country, King’s Forest Golf Club and Southbrook Golf and Country club.
