The Regional Stroke Centre for the South Central Ontario Region is located at Hamilton Health Sciences, Hamilton General Hospital. Website provides information about resources including helpful tips and suggestions for stroke survivors and their caregivers; social and recreational services including groups or classes provided by local agencies to assist with social interaction and physical exercise; and much more. A District Stroke Centre is located in Brant Community Healthcare System – Brantford General Hospital.

YWCA Hamilton Senior Active Living Centres

YWCA Hamilton operates two Senior Centres for older adults 55yrs+ for the City of Hamilton. Each location offers a variety of programs, activities and special events in seasonal terms designed to promote health & wellness through physical fitness, strength & endurance building, aquatics, performing arts, social programs, computer technology and educational series. Participants must purchase or hold a valid City of Hamilton Senior Membership. Locations: 75 MacNab Street South and 52 Ottawa St. North, both in Hamilton Ontario.
